CORRECTION ALERT!! PIT BULL SEIZURES

Within the last week, I posted a reply to a story about Denver, CO. seizing Pit Bulls from their family and euthanizing them just because they were Pit Bulls.  This story was from 2009.

Then someone else posted about Sikeston, MO having police gone wild trying to confiscate all Pit Bulls in the city and they met with much opposition.  This story happened Dec 6, 2012.  CURRENT NEWS!  I mistook it for a repeat of the Denver episode almost 4 years ago, and warned readers to not get upset over something that old.

I WAS/AM IN ERROR!  Below is a link to the Sikeston, MO seizure that occurred Dec 5, 2012.  THIS YEAR!

Because there is no way to find all possible occurrences of something posted to Facebook, I'm posting this correction in hopes it will land on the pages where this error of mine is still displayed.

Three pit bulls" Leo, Dawn and Gorgo," that had been sentenced by a judge to be euthanized after they were the victims of a vicious dog attack, were killed that same day.

And the city did not have the courtesy to notify Grant that his dogs had been killed.

At left are the innocent faces of beloved family pets.  Do you really want your innocent pets to be destroyed?
